About us

Oxfordshire Wool Hub is family run and our main aim is to get wool back into use again. We have been working with wool and sheep for over 20 years and breed native sheep as well as cross breeding a handful of ewes for excellent fibre.

We have spinners, knitters, and weavers in our family and we have prepared many fleeces to go to the wool mill to be turned into ready to spin fibre or yarn for knitting and weaving.

The Oxfordshire Wool Hub was started as a way to educate people about wool and how best to use it as well as to ensure excellent wool that is currently often discarded makes it into a mill to be processed for use in weaving, spinning, knitting and more.

We have applied for CIC to allow us to better serve this goal and to access funding. With this funding we aim for more wool to be used instead of binned or composted as so often happens these days.
